My Favorite Bible Verse

Hi there...my name is Elaine and I am happy to be doing this study with you. I think Blog Hop Thursdays are my favorite during a Proverbs 31 Bible Study because I enjoy reading the blogs of others and learning new insights. Picking my favorite bible verse is very difficult because I have so many. I think the verse that I have gone to very often is from Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Whenever I encounter a difficult or challenging situation, I pray this verse and it gives me peace and strength! I must admit that I do not have a problem with food cravings, so I was not sure that this was the right study for me. I do however want to increase my cravings for Jesus and I have read so many positive reviews about the book that I thought I would give it a try.     Hi Elaine, I love Phil 4:13 too! I think the simple fact that you want to crave more of Jesus makes this study right for you! I don't think it just has to be about food. I believe anything we crave more than we crave Jesus! I am so excited to get started & I like you also love the blog hop!

    Hi Elaine, I'm new to all this blogging and I just randomly picked one from the Made to Crave study Blog Hop. Phil 4:13 is probably one of my favorite scriptures! I temporarily tattooed it on my forearm when I ran my first Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon ever! It was my inspiration to keep going every time I started to feel like I couldn't make it! It definitely carried me to the finish line! I'm excited about this study and hope I figure out all these blogs and stuff! :)

      Hello Josie, I was new to the blogging stuff with the last study I did with Proverbs 31.."A Confident Heart". It was a little intimidating at first, but then it got easier. :) I am happy you stopped by and that you also find Phil 4:13 comforting!! I also run half marathons!! That is neat that you used the verse to get you to the finish line!! We can never go wrong when we use God's word to motivate us!! I will be looking for your blog posts!!
